Review by David O
A very good comfortable boot that enables long walks across varied terrain. This is the third pair of Aigle boots that I have owned. This pair developed a split in the upper within the warranty period. Having presented the evidence to Aigle they honoured the warranty without fuss.

This is my 5th pair of these wellies great value for money and very comfy for wearing for walking
Review by Neil Bartlett

Bought these, size 8/42...split within a year (above welt, inside right foot). Replaced by Uttings with no question. Replacement split too. As did the third pair! Now out of warranty. Three pairs of duds. Great shame - a lovely, comfortable boot...just very poor quality for the price.

After using a well known British brand for 30 years Ive finally switched loyalties following a deterioration in quality of manufacturing. These boots appear to be made of stronger materials and should last more than one season. They are certainly as comfortable as the competitors.
Review by Ms. Amanda Brace
Brilliant wellies. Exceptionally comfortable and very waterproof. Mud and water slide off. Solid non slip soles even in all the mud thats around great in the recent snow as well. They replace my old Aigle wellies that Id had for 10 years. Excellent for field and road walking with my two dogs. Light and very well made. Love them
Review by Equus
So far Ive worn them for dog walking and round the stable yard. They are quite wide at the top so hay and straw accumulates easily inside and the clips at the side undo when a boisterous dog or a haynet gets stuck in them so thats something to be aware of. That said they are very comfortable and the profile of the sole provides a lot of grip.

Lovely boots and very comfortable to wear BUT I have gone through two pairs in just over three years - both times the rubber has split and torn at the join of the sole and the heel. Uttings were brilliant though, replacing the first pair immediately. Think I might be out of luck with the second as it's been 18 months or so!
Review by Hilary Pegum
The boots are smart and comfortable. I think I will miss my neoprene lining. No experience of wet river banks or shallow wading yet. Enjoying what I think of as a luxury product.
Review by Mark Robbins

Most comfortable Wellington boots I have ever worn. They just don't last, split next to ball of foot. Now on 4th pair in 5 years, aigle have replaced twice.
Review by Eric R

I really liked the look & fit but durability is poor. Lasted 2 years 4 months (just out of warranty) before leaking and my previous pair even less. Both had the same fault - rubber perished and split where the toe flexes, just above the sole welt. Rubber also showing small cracks on the non-leaking boot, which I can see when I press from the inside. Tried to patch but it just doesn't work. For a quality brand it's a disappointing as I expected better.

amazing prompt service from uttings even upon returning one pair and exchanging for a larger size they arrived within a week.

Review by Emma Field
i already have a pair and have worn them for several yeara and they are the best wellies ive ever had so.just bought a new pair for myself and my partner!!
Review by David Alexander

Supremely comfortable but do not last. The sole too easily comes away from the upper. Now on 3rd pair in 5 years. When these go, I’ll look for an alternative.
Review by Ricky Bateman
I have tried them on they are really comfortable and they look quality manufactured. Havent worn them in the field yet to give accurate appraisal.
Review by Alan Melham

This is my second pair of Aigle wellies. The first pair lasted an impressive 7 years of dog walking and fishing. As the first pair the new ones are very comfortable and lightweight. One thing to note when ordering is that they come up a size larger than my normal shoe size. I am 45 in shoes and motorcycle boots but only a 44 in these wellington boots. This is the same as my previous pair of Aigle, boots.
Review by Rover
Excellent boots. The Vario is for people with wider feet and/or calves. There is also a slightly cheaper Parcours style that doesnt have a gusset which is suitable for people with normal or narrow feet.
Review by Mr David Pye
My last Aigle boots lasted nearly 5 years around the farm and are comfortable to wear all day.
Review by Adele Blain
These wellies are great and last which is more than can be said of other brands and believe you me we have tried them all. I always go for the non neoprene as I can wear more socks but hate having feet that are too hot.
Review by Marian Attlee
This is my second pair of Aigle boots think the last pair lasted about 15 years with lots of use. Very comfortable.
Review by Neil
Extremely comfortable boots with excellent footbed and great traction from the sole.. I cant imagine buying any other make now Ive bought these.
Review by Mrs Beverly Welsh
New brand of Wellingtons for meLoved my Hunters but wore out too quickly.
Review by Julie Kirby
Great price for these wellies very quick delivery. Will use this company again

I am on my second pair in less than 2 years. They both split where the ball of your foot bends. Not happy coz they are so comfortable and light weight. Expect more for 90 odd quid.
Review by David Pickering
Very comfortable and durable boots just bought my second pair first ones lasted for almost 4 years of regular wear (Previous pair of Hunters lasted about 3 years)
Review by Jessica Lewis
These Aigle Wellies are so comfortable and the best price and service was from Uttings! My neighbour now wants to order the same boots from them too!!!
Review by Jan Parkinson
Superb boots that are really comfortable. Great for walking or working outdoors as they have good foot ankle support as well as shock absorbing soles.
Review by J Knight
These are my second pair of Aigle wellington boots. Would not think of having a different make as these are so comfortable
Review by Annabel Spenceley
My fourth pair over a long period. Excellent boots comfy with a good sole that lasts.
Review by Jessica Field
Good quality looking wellies. This is my dads second pair so he must like them. They are tough as they withstand his bush beating days and he says they are good for walking in as have the thick sole.
Review by Elizabethnabb
Fabulous customer service and excellent value for money products.Would definately recommend Uttings.
Review by S Snodgrass
Third pair that Ive bought. Very Comfortable practical and hard wearing. Worth the money. Usually last me about 3 years being worn most days of the year.
Review by Ms Vanessa Green
Bought to replace an old pair and although these are good and look the same they are not as thick and therefore not as warm as the old ones something which was hard to tell from the website. Still happy with them and theyre coping well in the snow.
Review by John Fox
Very pleased with fast delivery price and boots only worn them twice very comfortable
Review by S Barritt
Good product however would suggested as advised by a Uttings customer service staff to go for the neoprene lined version(however in my haste I went against his good advice)
Review by Brian Thomas
replacement for a previous pair of Aigle parcours Wellies which served me well for 5 yearshopefully new ones will be just as good!
Review by Belinda Dade
I was very happy to be speaking to members of the UTTINGS family. It was a very good experience with a positive outcome THANK YOU!
Review by Nikki Torrance
Cant say to much just got them however have found them a little cold apart from that they are very light and comfortable which is important as I have arthritis.
Review by Mr Barnes
Im a size 81/2 9 with fairly wide feet and bought size 42 which were a good fit Ive had 43s in these before and they were too loose unless I wore liners too.
Review by Joan Farthing
Ordered my exact shoe size and they are perfect with thick socks. I wanted to tuck in jeans which I never can in boots but these are perfect.
Review by Paul Clark

Impossible to fault these boots. They have handled the thickest of bramble patches, blackthorn & god knows what else for more than two years—comfortably. Our two springer spaniels & our cocker would thoroughly recommend them. The OH has a pair of Le Chem's which are also a great boot but haven’t taken the same beating.
Review by Jez Bretherton

On my 2nd pair. Size 11, heavy wear.1st pair 47's too big = sock loss. Uppers split @ 3 yrs. 2nd pair 45 need tight fitting, profiled sock. @1 yr hole (1mm)& a split (6mm) in the heel sole, between the tread suck up water each time they flex. To be fair to Aigle, I looked carefully.Hole could have been a nail. The spit is clean,in a weird place no surrounding damage. Must be due to stress within the material. Warranty or glue?!
Review by Tim Smallman

I`ve had 3 pairs of these boots and just about to buy a 4th pair. I use them everyday for dog walking and cover approx 5 miles a day which equates to 1800 miles a year. Each pair has lasted about 5400 miles in total before the rubber starts to perish which is very good considering I walk in salt water every day. I was recommended to buy these by a farmer who is notoriously stingy when forking out money so I figured they must be good and so they have proven. Highly recommended.

I can't fault these after two years' use. Comfortable, completely waterproof, and they look good! It may be that I'm just fortunate with the way my feet are shaped, because I've not experienced the 'sock problem' reported by some other reviewers. Can't see the point of buying the neoprene-lined version as I just add thicker socks in colder conditions. I actually look forward to wearing these things, which is probably a bit weird come to think of it.
Review by Kevin St. Ledger

A good comfortable boot but have split between sole unit and upper at the heel - almost 3 years old expected better for the £170 outlay.
Review by Robin Mitchell

I bought expensive Aigle Parcours Outlast boots following rave reviews in Sept 2014. I treat them carefully and just use them to walk the dog daily on woodland walks in Winter. They split in less than a year above the instep and after repair using stormsure then failed just above the sole. Comfortable but not robust!
Review by Delyth Leask

I too am on my second pair which has failed again where the boot meets the sole - both boots both pairs now ! Have really not worn them much at all and believe that there must be some manufacturing fault. Aigle seem happy with the quality of boots they supply and are unable to help with the second pair as they are outside the original warranty for first boots that failed and were replaced. Personally I expect more than 18 months wear when I spend £90.

I agree with' Ian T': Paul Roberts was either exceptionally unlucky OR this is a dodgy review. Why anyone would think Hunters are even in the same game as Aigle, I don't know. Hunters are trading on brand name only; quality is rubbish. Le Chameau are a good alternative. Despite what we Brits think about our outdoor traditions, hunting and outdoor pursuits are a serious business in France and they make their outdoor kit to an excellent standard accordingly.

I've seen some negative comments about Aigle rubber boots, and I seriously have to consider whether or not they're deliberately placed. I don't wear mine every day, but after 5 years there's little sign of wear. My girlfriend's green pair have worn a bit after three years. Her brown pair, worn regularly, are hardly scuffed. Both of us mainly use them for country, woodland and farmland walks, so they get a fair hammering. P.S I found that Autoglym brings them up a treat.
Review by Paul Roberts

Recently returned the second pair of Aigle wellingtons. The first lasted a year before splitting. It’s good that Aigle have a two year warranty. The second pair lasted about 6 hours use before the insole started to peel away. It appeared to be lacking glue. Looked at Hunter Balmoral Neoprene and Le Chameau Vierzonord on the weekend. Both seem far superior quality to the Aigle – in practically every way. I certainly won’t be buying Aigle again. Premium price, poor quality.
Review by Dave Graham

Aigle parcours are among the best boots out there, forget hunters and seeland and the others im a relief milk who wears these boots day in day out 7 days a week and they should last years with most people. mine are 35% worn after 9 months as I have started milking on concrete floors. they're top boots most keepers and farmers will recommend these.
Review by John Greenhill

I've had 2 pairs of Parcours. Each time rubber on heel has totally worn to the base in months. Neither pair have got anywhere a years wear. This is a design fault which Aigle refuse to acknowledge ie the rubber on the heel is tapered to almost nothing. Cannot recommend on that basis. Which is a pity as not fault of Uttings whose service is outstanding or the boot in general which is also otherwise outstanding.
