I have only had these binoculars for a couple of weeks but have given them a good workout. They are very good in all types or field work. I find (I don't know why) but in say, a woodland setting I am able to pick out birds very quickly after hearing them sing. I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in 8x42 mag. binoculars.

I have just received my Opticron DBA Oasis S-Coat Mg 8x42 binoculars. After giving them a short period of use I have found them to be every bit as good as Opticron say they are. Obviously they need a good workout in rough weather but I have no reason to believe they will fail to deliver a good view.
