I have no doubt that the coat is strong and will last, and that it is extremely water and windproof, which is probably why the coat is unusable for anything which requires any activity. great for sitting still in a hide or high seat, but getting to those locations will cause uncomfortable amounts of perspiration and saturation of any shirts and clothing worn underneath. Layering does not seem to alter the situation. Only consolation is I didn't pay the RRP.

Excellent for high seat or driven day. Warm and waterproof. I used it in Croatia shooting wild boar in snow and wind - excellent. However it is not breathable in my opinion and any exertion - walking over rough country or stalking or beating makes you very wet.
