Not fit for purpose. Both zips failed after wearing them no more than three times and now it will cost me a fortune to have them repaired professionally. I own a lot of Harkila kit and can honestly say that these boots were a huge disappointment. Not even worth the one star I rated them at.

I wore this boot in the field all last winter and found it to be a fantastic replacement for my Le Chameau's. It is a boot very much for cold weather it would be too hot on a warm day. I found the calf fit to be just right.

These are by far the best quailty boot i have ever seen. The sheepswool lining is superb as is the leather outer and sole , making the foot extremly comfortable, however the big let down is the vastness of the calf section , I am 6'1 and near 14 stone ex rugby player and a MTB'er . I could put my entire fist down the whole leg section, and these have side zips ? this wrecks the boot completely as your lower leg flaps away hopelessley, weair big socks wont work, you'll mealt !
