Bought this laser lamp combo as had seen some good reviews and it was on offer. Not worth the money, even being on offer. The lamp is good but the laser is a waste of time, it does not keep zero when you eventually get it there. Wind the adjuster one way, laser moves, wind it a bit more, moves a bit more, wind a little more for fine adjustment and the laser ends up way off back in the direction you moved it from.

Bought while on offer excellent value for money. I bought this for use with an illuminated reticule scope at 2050 metres in twilight (laser only) and with/without a scope sub30 metres in darkness. In bright sunlight the laser is visible at 30m on lightcoloured surfaces much further in the shade. The laser projects a 10mm dot at 30m. I havent measured it at longer distances but the size is as small/smaller than my good shot groupings with a rest. In darkness the laser is good for over 100m. I had reservations about the LED lamp but its much brighter than expected. Ive made red and green filters from 3mm coloured Perspex samples which reduce the light intensity significantly but its still good for 30m plus. On the negative side the laser adjustment is notchy and imprecise up/down affects sidetoside and vice versa but ok once set. The clamp is a sprung fitting with knurled screw to hand tighten. This doesnt always zero exactly when taken off and refitted (/ 20mm at 30m). This is more to do with the mountin...
