Not an ideal system as the plastic ring seems to compress forever as you tighten the ring securing screws not giving any solid end point the plastic rings then start to move slightly as they are effectively squashed.

Tikka 30mm Optilock rings ( I already had bases ) ..... Having used these on all previous rifles I wont use anything else... They are made with quality steel have a plastic olive for the tube that stops scratching and grips the tube nicely and the fit to the bases is fantastic.Once tightened to the correct ft.lb setting for bases and rings they just do not move which gives you a lot of confidence in retaining zero.

Rock solid mounts for my Sako. I like mounting the scope as low as possible and these extra low mounts will take my Leopoldo VX3 with a 50mm objective lens.
