Excellent. Very high quality and comfortable from day one. Probably worth buying one euro size larger than normal which is what I did and they fit perfectly. This is my third pair (as they are used frequently) so I am a fan.

Good quality very comfortable straight out of the box. Definitely go up a size from what you normally buy, I did after reading other comments and they are spot on.

I wholeheartedly recommend these boots. I've been trying to find a lightweight but robust pair for 2 years and have made expensive mistakes. Used these on our charity walk this year. I had about 3 miles on the clock before we started and had not even one rub let alone a blister after 70 punishing miles. It is worth paying just that little bit more for these boots. My daughter has had a similar pair for ten years and has never had a problem.

These need no breaking in whatsoever. Lace them up and they feel like a part of you. Extremely well made and extremely comfortable. I normally take a euro 45 (uk 10) and the 46 fit perfectly. Look after them and they'll last for a long time. Highly recommended.

I bought Zamberlan Trial Lite because of all the good reviews that I read and the fact that they were one piece uppers. They are extremely comfortably and the soles give reassuring performance. My main problem is that despite good maintenance, both boots have decided to let in water through the toe area between sole and leather after just 3 years average hiking use. I feel a boot of this quality & price should not fail so soon.

Great price, light and comfortable boot, decent grip in mud, one piece upper is high quality and keeps the water out. Didn't need to break them in and zero blisters in my case. I wear a 8 to 8.5 depending on the make and the 9 in this case was prefect. The in sole is one of best I have used but I am a superfeet fan so it has been relegated to my approach shoes. Planning on moving to Zamberlan from Meindl when my approach shoes need replaced based on using these boots.

Bought a pair of 996's that have been great. Decided that these Lites would suffice for the less strenuous local walks . They have not disappointed. Light clean design and waterproof. Looks as if Uttings are discontinuing stocking Zamberlan - pity.

Bought these to replace big brand name fabric topped boots that leaked after only a couple of hundred miles. So far have done a couple of 15 mile days and several shorter trips, all with deep mud. No leaks. These are instantly comfortable. I haven't felt the need to break them in. I've given them 9 as I'm sure they could be improved. I just don't know how.

The Zamberlan Trail Lites are great boots. I have wide feet so bought the mens size and took the advice of another reviewer and sized up - good advice. Very supportive boots and really comfy. Recommended them to my partner and he also sized up for a perfect fitting pair of boots. Both my partner and I would recommend these boots, for warm, dry comfortable feet. Excellent value for money.

i have been wearing Zamberlan boots for many years. The mountain boots Vioz 996 have seen me through a completion of the 'Munros' without a blister! The Trail Lites which I have bought will see me through a season of long distance trail routes. These are the best boots one can buy!

I have never owned a better pair of boots than these Zamberlans. The upper is best quality leather and the sole is a thick, grippy Vibram, but with more give in it than earlier Zamberlans, to allow for easier flexing. Ankle support is good and, here too, there is a bit more compromise and the boots are consequently very comfortable. The boots are completely waterproof.Be aware you may need a larger size than usual; I did.  I rate these Zamberlans as pretty much the perfect boots.
