I bought this to seal the walnut stock on my new BSA r12 just rubbed a small amount onto the stock then worked it in with my fingers......I repeated this three times.....it brought out the colour of the grain in an understated way.....non greasy...nothing complicated about the procedure and used less than half the bottle.......leaves a nice matte finish dries in a few minutes..no smell.
