Update.The jag broke off at the thread, it was doing as reviewed, cleaning well, but can't really recommend this if it's disposable, saying that I'm buying a couple more as I haven't found anything to clean as well. I used it twice a week for about 6 months, finally broke off with little provocation. Used with the ultra clean its excellent, just wish it wasn't a throw away piece. I would be willing to pay a bit more if the item were durable.

I've had this jag with the ultra clean roll for a little over 4 months and it cleans well. I have it attached to a basic 'Bisely' cleaning rod and as long as you don't cross the threads I found it fine. The extra length does mean more roll, but it also means a thorough clean. I haven't found anything else to do as good a job.

Very disappointed in Napier, the jag is made of plastic and the threads are not very robust, the threads failed on the second use! Save yourself the money and buy Napier's brass Jag instead, it works well, will last a life time, and because it is shorter, you will use a lot less ultra clean roll.

Will not fit the one piece or 3 piece rods I purchased from Uttings???? Still looking for a rod to fit.
