Very clear , bright and sharp optics. Obviously becomes less sharp at higher magnifications,but still good. I also think the zoom is great. Comfortable to use and ,in my opinion,actually lightweight for binoculars of this magnification range.I have even purchased a cheap tripod so that viewing at higher magnifications is "shake free".For the money (at Uttings,anyway) very hard to beat.

Just been out with them for the first time and they are very very good - careful focusing needed at high magnification but well worth having the zoom facility - easy to use - good light gathering - overall worth ever penny

You could look for a long time and not find a better binocular for the price. Excellent optics and zoom. I would recommend them to anyone.
