I was bought a pair for my birthday today as generally an outdoor type person who's put up with cold, wet feet for too long. First impressions are that it's like putting on a pair of thick thermal socks which grip your feet and calfs. No annoying inner seems which hamper other brands and the footbed is as cushioned as any air trainers I own. Been standing outside in the deepest snow I could find with the thinnest cotton socks and no bit of cold creeping in. I think the Esk are not going to be off my feet now for the remaining winter. They would be a 10 rating if I had tested them for longer as can't fault them on initial wear. Can't comment on delivery or service as bought as a present but nothing mentioned from the wife.
