Getting closer
The crystal clear SWAROVISION technology reproduces even the smallest details with color fidelity and razor-sharpness right to the edge of the field of view. The BTX has a 30x or 35x magnification, according to the objective module chosen. This magnification can be quickly and easily increased to 50x or 60x by using the ME 1.7x magnification extender, available as an optional accessory. The proprietary bayonet system allows the extender to be mounted to any of the objective and eyepiece modules in the ATX/STX/BTX family.

Natural viewing comfort
Particular priority was placed on maximizing viewing comfort. Since the binocular system reflects natural vision, the image seems extraordinarily vivid. Viewing with both eyes also means avoiding strenuous squinting. The angled view helps to ensure maximum comfort when observing for long periods of time. The innovative, smoothly adjustable forehead rest, which can be fully retracted if desired, makes it more relaxing when exploring. An aiming aid is integrated above the right eyepiece and the birder only needs to glance up to find the target quickly.

A Complete View

Since the binocular system reflects natural vision, the image seems extraordinarily vivid. The excellent SWAROVISION optics allow you to experience every moment in razor-sharp detail. Field flattener lenses flatten the image, making it sharp right to the periphery. Fluoride-containing HD lenses enhance the colour fidelity and reduce interfering colour fringing. Eyeglass wearers also fully enjoy the benefit of the large field of view.

Better Adjustment
The two fins on the eyepieces enable you to adjust the interpupillary distance easily. As the eyepieces operate simultaneously, the system always remains centred. This means that you will always have a comfortable viewing position without having to move away from the forehead rest.

Natural Fit For All
The BTX eyepiece module is compatible with all objective lenses in the Swarovski Optik ATX/STX range. Existing objective modules in this range can be upgraded to a fully-fledged BTX spotting scope.

Ready Quicker
To enable you to focus on the image quickly even with high magnifications, the BTX is equipped with a new type of aiming aid. The aiming circle helps you to hone in on the desired object. This can then be seen in the BTX field of view simultaneously. If you don't need the aiming aid, you can simply remove it.

Maximum Comfort
The ergonomically designed forehead rest can be smoothly adjusted to any height and directs your gaze perfectly. The angled view also allows the tripod to be set lower.
