The angled version is eminently suitable for observing in comfort whether the birds are on the ground, in trees or in awkward positions such as high above in the sky .

All of 'The Big Four', namely Leica, Nikon, Swarovski & Zeiss, produce THE great 'scopes, optically. It is then ergonomics come to the fore, is its design intuitive to you - does it feel 'right' in your hands? This 'scope constantly trumps all others, in its handling, in every review I've ever seen. The new modular design, the new breed of Swarovski, very nice, but, along with a massive price hike, the extra weight should not be dismissed or overlooked, either. This remains a great 'scope!
