*18650 Li-ion batteries are powerful cells designed for commercial applications and must be treated with caution and handled with care. Using low-quality batteries or mishandling batteries (such as short-circuiting or overheating) could lead to combustion and jeopardize the safety of users and property. Any adverse effects resulting from the use of low-quality batteries are not covered by any Fenix warranty or liability. Using quality batteries with circuit protection will reduce the potential for combustion or explosion. It is recommended to use a Fenix ARB-L18 Series battery.

- One light on: 40% - 20%
- One light flashes: 20% - 1%
*Note: This feature only works with a Fenix ARB-L18-4000 battery.
Intelligent Overheat Protection:
The lamp will accumulate a lot of heat when used at high output levels for extended periods. When the lamp reaches a temperature of 60°C/140°F or above, it will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 60°C/140°F, the lamp will gradually recall the preset output level.
Low-voltage Warning:
When the voltage level drops below the pre-set level, the lamp is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until the lowest output of the currently selected mode is reached. When the white light and the neutral white light are turned on at the same time, the lamp will automatically turn off the neutral white light and keep the Low output of the white light on. However, if the neutral white light is turned on alone, the lamp will automatically turn off the neutral white light and turn on the Low output of the white light. When the voltage level is still too low in the lowest output of the currently selected mode, the headlamp blinks 3 times every 5 minutes on the Low output of the white light to remind users to replace or recharge the battery in a timely manner.
Headband Assembly:
Notice: The headband is factory assembled and ready to use right out of the package.
Adjust the headband by sliding the buckle to the required length.
Usage and Maintenance:
- Disassembling the sealed head can cause damage to the lamp and will void the warranty.
- Fenix recommends using an excellent quality battery.
- If the lamp will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery, or the lamp could be damaged by electrolyte leakage.
- Lock the lamp or take out the battery to prevent accidental activation during storage or transportation.
- Long-term use can result in O-ring wear. To maintain a proper water seal, lubricate the O-ring with a tiny amount of silicone oil or grease. Replace the ring with an approved spare if it wears after extended use.
- Recharge a stored lamp every four months to maintain the optimum performance of the battery.
- Poor battery level or dirty contacts in the battery compartment / on the battery may cause the lamp to flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate, please recharge the battery case in a timely manner and clean the contacts as required. If this method doesn't work, please contact the distributor.
