Have bought several pairs of Zamberlan Trail Lite over the years and find them comfortable waterproof and longlasting. They have needed very little breaking in and the sole pattern grips well on muddy paths. I prefer to wear lightweight boots in the summer months but these boots actually work out better value in cost per mile. I buy in Size 8 to allow for thicker socks compared with Size 7 or 7.5 in formal footwear.

My 3rd pair of these boots now; thats not a criticism of their durability (I walk a lot of miles) but a testament to their quality. They require a little breaking in as any good boot should but their comfort and waterproofness is second to none.

Long may Zamberlan prosper because I dont know where else I would get a boot to fit my narrow feet. When regularly cleaned and waxed the uppers will last longer than the sole. Quality.

Been using zamberlan boots from way back 40 years maybe. These are the best although hot having a goretex lining not easy buying boots with out one these days and probably need one anyway. Fit perfect using one pair of socks no need for more they are that comfy!! Get a size bigger as always. Remember never ever go near a heat source with these it will kill them the leather will be destroyed and the glue will break down. Sharp rocks will cut the leatherbe careful where you walk and foot placement. The construction is the best ever with the tongue part of the boot sides never seen this on any boot before superb quality and a very reasonable price thanks to Uttings! Dont buy Griseport will be in the trash bin in a year from personal experience. Keep well greased apply every 23 weeks if used daily and they will last you a long time highly recommended !!

This is my third pair of Zamberlan Trail Lite GTX walking boots. Love the fact that theyre made in one piece of leather and are fully waterproof even in a pouring rain. They are really comfortable mould well to my feet and if well looked after will last for years.

My last pair of Zamberlan boots lasted nearly twenty years were very comfortable and used over many terrains including mountains and snow conditions performing well with the hydobloc keeping them waterproof. New ones look very similar are hand made in Italy. Only time will tell if they are as good as my first Zamberlan boots.High quality one piece leather upper with vibram sole I very much prefer leather compared to synthetic uppers.

My old pair lasted 11 years and only my neglecting to condition the leather shortened their life. These seem equally comfortable and robust and they do not seem to have changed in any way.

Narrower Italian fit that is good for me. Uttings prices are spot on. Good value and you get a quality leather walking boot the same price as the higher end of other brands. You just know that Zamberlans will last you nigh on a lifetime! The others will not. Got these leather Trail Lites as they are tougher and easier to clean than fabric boots for cold wet and muddy environments. For a marginal weight increase.

I have large but narrow feet well suited to the narrow last on which Zamberlan boots are made. The Goretex lining works well as long as the leather is occasionally cleaned and reproofed with Hydrobloc. I have been wearing Zamberlan for a dozen years. The first pair separated from the sole after 10 years daily use as a landscaper paving in over 30 degree C heat would put paid to many a shoe! The second pair remain comfortable and waterproof. This third pair is to give me a chance to clean the second pair! The only concern I have is that the soles can be slippery on wet rocks. As I have a tendency to overpronation in all footwear and resultant knee pain I remove the insole and replace with Foot Active Sports orthotic insoles to better anchor the heel and provide greater arch support. Size XL fits perfectly in the size 48/13 boots.

This is my second pair of Zamberlan walking boots. I know they are quite pricey but well worth the money. My first pair lasted about 9 years. I am not disappointed in them comfortable and supportive whilst walking. I went a size up from my usual size so that I could wear a thick pair of walking socks.

For me Zamberlan leather boots are still the best ones around for winter hiking. I have been a Zamberlanfan for many years now. This is my third pair the previous ones just got porous after 10 years of sterling service but are still mighty comfy and usable as summer hikers as long as the rain holds off. Uttings are my prefered provider as they offer prompt service and unbeatable prices.

I have bought the same Zamberlans I bought 4 years ago. The old ones developed leaks where the leather cracked but thats more me not looking after the properly. UNot using dubbin as much as I should have. I have worn those shoes nearly every day and the new ones are comfortable straight away. I wouldnt buy another make of walking boot.cant see the point.

Nice quality bought to replace a 12 year old pair of zamberlans had to go up 2 sizes though so as other reviews have said they do come up small. For info I am a 6 (39) and ended having to exchange the 40 for a 41 now fit is just right. There isnt that much difference going up sizes so 2 sizes up isnt much.

Slightly biased best boots in the world.Just the right fit and stiffness for me. The lacing system makes them easier to put on and tie up.I have tried other manufacturers but for me nothing comes close. Quality shines through.

Bought these as they looked the nearest thing to my >20yo Zamberlans that needed replacing. Don’t care that they are “Unisex” – buy what works. I’ve given them a severe beating & they’ve handled everything I could throw at them. The Vibram Grivola sole is great & seems considerably more durable than the fancier sole on the 960 Guide GTX guide boots that I also bought. My feet must be well suited to the Zamberlan last because the moment I put them on, I felt as if I could walk forever in them.
