Ive had several Vantage scopes before most of them through Uttings an this one has so far been better than any of my earlier purchases. Easy to mount and use clear reticule smooth zoom and side focus operation light and bright. excellent value

Brilliant value. High max scope that sits close to the barrel. Obviously not going to be good in low light at high mag but thats why its variable.

A nice daytime scope but the objective lens of 44mm is not big enough with the full x24 mag available and certainly not for nv use. If Hawke put SF on the 3-9x40 it would be a better option, and the next scope up is the Airmax 30, which is an awesome scope. So in a way, this scope sits in 'no man's land' in terms of functionality.
