Quality boot bought for my girlfriend as a gift. Unfortunately sizing for this boot is too small and narrow for her. On a taste perspective she was looking for something more modern less brown....so this is my fault! Scoring on comfort is down purely on fit in this case.Anyway product is well made (I have a pair of Zamberlans) and quality.

I have bought these boots for many years as they suit my foot. I have never had any problems with blisters or sore feet and use them as a regular walker of the countryside both here and abroad. I particularly like the high cuff which protects my ankles.

My 3rd pair of these boots. Walk about 500 miles a year and my last pair are 2.5 years old and just started cracking by the medial side of the ball of my foot. I really find these boots comfortable.

These are my favourite boots for hillwalking in Scotland. Have never been disappointed in their performance over all seasons over several pairs over a good number of years. They are smaller made so I need to buy a size bigger than I normally wear.

This is an update from my original rave review. I can only second Rosey's experience. My boots lasted less than 18 months before they started to fall apart. The soles are a huge design fault in my opinion, detatching in various places from the rest of the sole around the edge of the boot. I shall steer clear of any boots with this type of sole in future. Also, these boots have no grip whatsoever on slippery or wet surfaces. I've fallen on more than one occasion because of this.

Fantastic, comfy boots but after just 3 years the Vibram 3D outsole on both boots is coming apart at the joints between the central grey section and also at the heel and foot sole where it joins the sole. Used 3-4 times a week for dog walking, regularly cleaned and Hydrobloced. The leather uppers are still in great condition. Really disappointed - other Zamberlands have lasted 10 plus years. My husbands 1006 vioz plus are in great condition but these have a different Vibram sole.

I bought these to replace my original Zamberlan's of 25 years, which sadly, are no longer waterproof. I've not even had to break these boots in and fit like a glove. They are unbelievably comfortable with superb ankle support. Took the dogs for a 5 mile walk and felt like I was in my slippers! A fantastic boot which should last many years if looked after and in a class of its own.

My first walk in these boots was 8 hours climbing 3 Monros yesterday and not a blister. So comfortable from the moment I put them on - great cushioning. Absolutely love them. I'm a size 8 with wide feet and ordered the 42. Perfect.Great price (cheapest I found for these boots) and arrived quickly. Very happy purchase.
