When the gun is fired, the pressure and the acceleration of the felt pellet causes it to shrink in length and expand in diameter to the desired high friction, allowing the felt pellet to press itself into the rifling and follow the twist. This ensures that every part of the barrel is reliably cleaned.

Webley AccuBB Lead BBs with Copper Jacket - .177 (500). The new AccuBB 4.5mm series are a full lead BB that features a full copper jacket. This greatly reduces the risk of ricochet compared to standard steel BBs and also prevents damage to rifling.
