Pulsar Axion Compact XQ19 Thermal (384x288) Monocular. The Axion Compact is the most accessible thermal imaging monocular in the Pulsar product range. Designed to embolden more users with the power of thermal imaging, this compact and lightweight monocular is light on the pocket in more ways than one. However, don’t let its size fool you — with a 384×288, 17µm, <18mK sNETD and a powerful 19mm f1.0 objective lens, the Axion Compact XQ19 may be small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, but it’ll comfortably pick out even the smallest heat signature at distances reaching up to 750m!

Affordability Meets Reliability
The Pulsar Axion Compact XQ19 is the latest addition to the Axion Compact series. Designed to provide users with the power of thermal imaging at an affordable price point, this device may be compact and lightweight, but its sensitive 384×288, 17µm, <18mK sNETD and a powerful 19mm f1.0 objective lens ensures a thermal performance that outshines its size — detecting a heat source at distances reaching up to 750m with ease.

Plus, thanks to its <18mK sNETD thermal sensitivity, you can expect a consistently clear thermal image that allows you to track your subject in all types of weather conditions — from bright sunshine to heavy rain.

Wide Field of View
With a 19° field of view, the Axion Compact XQ19 features the largest FOV in the Axion Compact series, opening up the observation area even further than before and achieving a more comfortable searching and scanning experience when covering large areas.

Extended Battery Life
An extended battery life of up to 8 hours (depending on temperature) from the Axion Compact XQ19’s rechargeable and removeable APS3 battery will enable extended periods of observation. Plus, thanks to an easy to locate and remove battery cover, switching between a depleted battery and a new one is easier than ever, even in the dark — so you can keep your observations going through the day and well into the night.

Observation in Any Weather Conditions
The Axion Compact XQ19 features a robust magnesium alloy bodyshell which provides ample protection against everyday bumps, knocks, and scrapes; keeps the device protected from dust- and moisture ingress; allows the monocular to be used in adverse weather conditions, including dense fog, heavy rain, and snow; and even keeps the device running unaffected after being immersed in water.

A stylish rubberised strip along the bottom of the device ensures better grip in both wet and dry conditions — providing even more security when using the device in the field.

8 Colour Palettes
As with all current Pulsar devices, this compact monocular features eight colour palettes designed to enhance your thermal observation experience, allowing you to observe your field of view more effectively by optimising the monocular for specific tasks and reacting to changing observation conditions.

  • White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot are optimal for object detection.
  • Rainbow and Ultramarine help increase chances for recognition & identification.
  • Red Monochrome, Sepia and Violet are most suitable for long observation in the night

Built-in Video Recording
Built-in video recording (with audio) and still image capture ensures you’ll never miss your favourite moments during observation. Videos and images captured on the device are stored on the generous internal memory and can even be stored on the cloud via Stream Vision 2, so you can access your favourite clips and images on the go.

Connect to Stream Vision 2 for Hands-free Observation
Connect the Axion Compact XQ19 to Stream Vision 2 using an Android or iOS smartphone or tablet and discover a wide range of connectivity features, including:

  • The ability to use a mobile phone as a wireless remote to control and adjust the device’s settings. View all the changes made on a smartphone or tablet screen in real-time. This feature also allows for remote recording of footage or capture of still images.
  • A gallery of photos and videos captured on the device that can be browsed through and downloaded. These videos and images can also be shared easily.
  • The ability to remotely update the device’s firmware, meaning users can enjoy all the latest features and ensure it is always running at the top of its game
