HIKMICRO Stellar 3.0 SX60L (1280x1024) Thermal Riflescope. HIKMICRO STELLAR SX60L 3.0 Thermal Scope is equipped with a 1280×1024 @12μm thermal detector, with much higher sensitivity (NETD 18mK) and the latest image processing algorithm (Image Pro 2.0), ensuring users catch the finest details no matter the weather or light conditions without interruption. With a 2560×2560 1.03" AMOLED larger display, SX60L 3.0 makes it easier to spot targets quickly and accurately. The built-in lens 1000m LRF and ballistic calculation contribute to more accurate shooting. The scope is mainly used for field and forest hunting.

The HIKMICRO Stellar 3.0 utilises industry leading sensor technology and innovative software to create the ultimate thermal riflescope. The SX60L is fitted with HIKMICROS new 1280px sensor which delivers an unbelievably detailed, high resolution thermal image.

The Stellar 3.0 introduces many innovations to enhance your hunting experience including shutterless technology and the integrated Laser Rage Finder (LRF) which allows you to access HIKMICRO's advanced ballistic calculator while retaining the traditional appearance of your scope.

Built around HIKMICRO's incredible new 1280x1024px, Sub 18mK NETD sensor, the Stellar 3.0 redefines what is possible from a thermal scope. The high resolution sensor delivers an unbelievably crisp and detailed image at base mag while also allowing you to use the digital magnification to zoom in without pixilation.  Not only does this help you to positively identify animals but also gives you a clear view of the surroundings and background. This highly accurate thermal sensor will also continue to deliver in the most challenging conditions, such as rain and fog.

The 1000m LRF discreetly fits inside the front objective lens which allows you to accurately judge the distance to your target without compromising the traditional look of your rifle. The built-in ballistic calculator displays the holdover point on your reticle, making it possible to accurately adjust for shooting at different distances, even in total darkness.

The new viewfinder screen delivers an immersive experience, with an exceptionally wide field of view. You can customise the display to give you all the information you need in a rounded viewing area that will feel familiar to anyone who has used a traditional optical scope.

In addition to the latest hardware, HIKMICRO are committed to developing advanced software to enhance your hunting experience. The Stellar 3.0 is loaded with new technology like Image Pro 2.0 which uses intelligent algorithms to build extra detail to the image.

Another unique technology which is set to revolutionise your thermal shooting experience is shutterless technology. The shutter is used in traditional thermal devices to control image noise. It is a physical process which requires your image to freeze for a few seconds to complete. During that interruption it is impossible to take your shot. To avoid this problem, HIKMICRO have developed software which has replaced the physical shutter and removed this problem.

Powered by a combination of internal batteries and a removable 18650, the Stellar 3.0 delivers an impressive run time of 9 Hours. The display also shows you the status of the internal battery and the external battery separately so it is easy to manage your power consumption.

HIKMICRO Stellar 3.0 SX60L (1280x1024) Thermal Riflescope FAQs

What magnification range does this thermal riflescope offer?

The scope provides a base optical magnification of 2.5× with continuous digital zoom up to 28.5×. The high-resolution 1280×1024 sensor allows digital zooming with minimal pixelation compared to lower-resolution systems. This makes it effective for both close-range scanning and long-distance target identification. Zoom Pro further enhances image clarity at higher magnifications.

How does the shutterless image system improve shooting?

Traditional thermal scopes periodically freeze the image to recalibrate using a mechanical shutter. This model replaces that process with software-based shutterless technology, removing image interruptions entirely. As a result, users can observe and take shots without losing sight of the target at critical moments. This is particularly beneficial during fast-moving hunting situations.

What is the detection and ranging capability?

The 60 mm F1.0 lens delivers a detection range of up to 3100 m under suitable conditions. An integrated laser rangefinder, discreetly housed within the objective lens, measures distances from 10 m up to 1000 m with ±1 m accuracy. This allows hunters to assess distance without external accessories. The system is designed to maintain the traditional appearance of the rifle.

Does the scope include ballistic calculation?

Yes, the built-in laser rangefinder works in conjunction with an onboard ballistic calculator. The calculated holdover point is displayed directly on the reticle. This enables accurate shot placement at varying distances, even in complete darkness. It reduces the need for manual estimation in the field.

What display technology is used?

The scope features a 1.03-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2560×2560. This high-density display creates an immersive viewing experience with a wide field of view. Adjustable brightness, contrast, and tone settings allow users to tailor the image to their preferences. The layout is designed to feel familiar to users of traditional optical scopes.

Which colour palettes are available?

Users can select from Black Hot, White Hot, Red Hot, Fusion, Red Monochrome, and Green Monochrome palettes. These options allow optimisation for different terrain and target contrast scenarios. Switching palettes can improve visibility depending on environmental conditions. This flexibility supports extended observation sessions.

How durable is the scope under recoil?

The unit is rated to withstand recoil forces up to 1000 g over 0.4 ms. This makes it suitable for use on high-recoil hunting rifles within the stated limits. Internal components are engineered to maintain zero and functionality under repeated firing. Five zeroing profiles further enhance reliability across setups.

What recording and storage features are included?

The scope supports onboard video recording, snapshot capture, and audio recording. Recoil-activated recording ensures key moments are automatically saved when a shot is fired. Media is stored on an internal 64 GB EMMC memory. A local album allows easy review directly on the device.

How long does the battery last?

Power is supplied by two internal rechargeable lithium batteries combined with a removable 18650 external battery. This hybrid system delivers up to 9 hours of continuous operation at -20°C with Zoom Pro and the laser rangefinder active. Battery status for internal and external cells is displayed separately. USB-C charging with QC3.0 support is included.

Is the scope suitable for harsh weather conditions?

With an IP67 protection rating, the scope is sealed against dust ingress and water immersion. It is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 55°C. The thermal sensor maintains performance in challenging conditions such as rain and fog. This makes it well suited for demanding outdoor hunting environments.
