HIKMICRO Stellar 3.0 SH50L (384x288) Thermal Riflescope. HIKMICRO STELLAR SH50L 3.0 Thermal Scope is equipped with a 384×288 @12μm thermal detector, with much higher sensitivity (NETD 15mK) and the latest image processing algorithm (Image Pro 2.0) and shutterless system (HSIS), ensuring users catch the finest details no matter the weather or light conditions without interruption. With a 2560×2560 1.03" AMOLED larger display, SH50L 3.0 makes it easier to spot targets quickly and accurately. The built-in 1000m LRF and ballistic calculation contribute to more accurate shooting. The scope is mainly used for field hunting.

The HIKMICRO Stellar 3.0 utilises industry leading sensor technology and innovative software to create the ultimate thermal riflescope. The Stellar 3.0 introduces many innovations to enhance your hunting experience including shutterless technology and the integrated Laser Rage Finder (LRF) which allows you to access HIKMICRO's advanced ballistic calculator while retaining the traditional appearance of your scope.

Built around HIKMICRO's latest generation 384x288px, Sub 15mK NETD sensors, the Stellar 3.0 is capable of delivering an unbelievably detailed image. Not only does this help you to positively identify animals but also gives you a clear view of the surroundings and background. This highly accurate thermal sensor will also continue to deliver in the most challenging conditions, such as rain and fog.

The 1000m LRF discreetly fits inside the front objective lens which allows you to accurately judge the distance to your target without compromising the traditional look of your rifle. The built-in ballistic calculator displays the holdover point on your reticle, making it possible to accurately adjust for shooting at different distances, even in total darkness.

The new viewfinder screen delivers an immersive experience, with an exceptionally wide field of view. You can customise the display to give you all the information you need in a rounded viewing area that will feel familiar to anyone who has used a traditional optical scope.

In addition to the latest hardware, HIKMICRO are committed to developing advanced software to enhance your hunting experience. The Stellar 3.0 is loaded with new technology like Image Pro 2.0 which uses intelligent algorithms to build extra detail to the image.

Another unique technology which is set to revolutionise your thermal shooting experience is shutterless technology. The shutter is used in traditional thermal devices to control image noise. It is a physical process which requires your image to freeze for a few seconds to complete. During that interruption it is impossible to take your shot. To avoid this problem, HIKMICRO have developed software which has replaced the physical shutter and removed this problem.

Powered by a combination of internal batteries and a removable 18650, the Stellar 3.0 delivers an impressive run time of 9 Hours. The display also shows you the status of the internal battery and the external battery separately so it is easy to manage your power consumption.

HIKMICRO Stellar 3.0 SH50L (384x288) Thermal Riflescope FAQs

What thermal sensor does the HIKMICRO Stellar 3.0 SH50L use?

The scope uses a VOx uncooled focal plane array with a resolution of 384×288 and a 12 μm pixel pitch. With a NETD of less than 15 mK, it is capable of detecting very subtle temperature differences. This results in clearer target definition and improved background detail.

What is the effective detection range of this thermal riflescope?

The Stellar 3.0 SH50L offers a detection range of up to 2600 metres, thanks to its 50 mm F1.0 objective lens. This range refers to heat detection rather than identification. It provides strong long-distance awareness in open terrain.

How does the shutterless image system benefit the user?

The HIKMICRO Shutterless Image System (HSIS) removes the need for a physical shutter. This prevents image freezing during calibration. As a result, users can maintain continuous visual tracking and avoid missed shot opportunities.

What magnification range does the Stellar 3.0 SH50L support?

The scope offers a base magnification of 6× and can digitally zoom up to 24×. Zooming is continuous with 1× step increments. This allows precise control over image scale for different distances and target sizes.

Does this model include a laser rangefinder?

Yes, the Stellar 3.0 SH50L features a discreetly integrated laser rangefinder within the objective lens. It can measure distances up to 1000 metres with an accuracy of ±1 metre. The design preserves the traditional appearance of the scope.

How does the ballistic calculator work in this scope?

The built-in ballistic calculator uses range data from the laser rangefinder. It displays the calculated holdover point directly on the reticle. This assists with accurate shot placement at varying distances, even in total darkness.

What type of display does the scope use?

The scope is equipped with a 2560×2560 resolution 1.03-inch OLED display. This high-resolution screen provides a wide field of view and sharp image presentation. It is designed to feel familiar to users of traditional optical scopes.

What recording and storage features are included?

The Stellar 3.0 SH50L supports onboard video recording, snapshot capture, and audio recording. It also includes recoil-activated recording for automatic shot capture. Media is stored on a built-in 64 GB EMMC memory.

How long does the battery last in real-world use?

The scope combines internal rechargeable batteries with a removable 18650 external battery. Together, they provide up to 9 hours of continuous operation. Battery status for both power sources is displayed separately on screen.

Is the HIKMICRO Stellar 3.0 SH50L suitable for harsh weather?

Yes, the scope is rated IP67 for dust and water resistance. It is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 55°C. This makes it suitable for demanding hunting environments.
