HikMicro Alpex 4K Day/Night Riflescope FAQs
What magnification range does the HikMicro Alpex 4K offer?
The Alpex 4K provides a native magnification range from 3.5x up to 28.0x using continuous digital zoom. This allows smooth transitions between lower magnification for situational awareness and higher magnification for target identification. The 4K sensor helps maintain usable detail even at higher zoom levels.
How does the adjustable aperture benefit day and night use?
The 50 mm lens features an adjustable aperture from F1.2 to F2.5, enabling the user to control light intake manually. This helps optimise image quality in bright daylight as well as low-light night conditions. Adjusting the aperture can reduce glare or improve contrast depending on ambient light.
Is the Alpex 4K suitable for both daytime and nighttime hunting?
Yes, the scope is designed for true day and night operation using available ambient light. It delivers full-colour imagery during the day and switches to black-and-white viewing at night. This dual-mode functionality makes it suitable for varied hunting scenarios.
What type of display does the Alpex 4K use?
The riflescope uses a 0.49-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080. OLED technology provides high contrast and fast response times, contributing to clear image presentation. The enlarged viewfinder improves overall viewing comfort.
How is the scope powered and what is the battery life?
Power is supplied by two internal rechargeable lithium batteries combined with one external replaceable 18650 battery. This hybrid setup delivers up to 11 hours of continuous operation at 25 °C with hotspot features disabled. Charging and external power are supported via a USB-C interface.
Does the HikMicro Alpex 4K support video and audio recording?
Yes, the scope includes onboard video recording at 1920 × 1080 resolution along with audio recording. It also supports recoil-activated recording, ensuring key moments are captured automatically. Files are stored on the built-in 64 GB EMMC memory.
What zeroing options are available on the Alpex 4K?
The scope offers freeze zeroing for precise and efficient setup. Users can store up to five separate zeroing profiles, making it suitable for multiple rifles or ammunition types. This flexibility reduces the need for repeated re-zeroing.
How durable is the Alpex 4K under recoil?
The Alpex 4K is rated to withstand recoil forces up to 1000 g over 0.4 ms. Its reinforced tube design supports use on higher-recoil hunting rifles. This durability ensures reliable performance over extended use.
Is the scope weatherproof?
With an IP67 protection rating, the Alpex 4K is fully protected against dust ingress and temporary immersion in water. It is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -30 °C to 55 °C. This makes it suitable for harsh outdoor environments.
What mounting system does the HikMicro Alpex 4K use?
The scope uses a standard 30 mm tube for mounting with conventional scope rings. This allows straightforward installation on a wide range of rifles. The traditional form factor will appeal to users who prefer classic mounting solutions.

Product Reviews
Review by Peter Born
A really well made scope and excellent value. I found the workings of the scope confusing at first due to the poor users guide with the product but there is enough internet advice on the scope to compensate for this. Once the scope was running the definition was extremely good and the visibility into very low light levels was exceptional.
