The Sightmark® Triple Duty Universal Laser Bore Sight provides the most convenient and accurate method for sighting in of all types. Simply place the arbor of the bore sight into the barrel of your weapon; the base will attach magnetically with the retractable arbor centering the bore sight automatically. A green laser dot will show exactly where your aiming making it easy to sight in any scope without firing a single round. Live fire is only needed to fine tune the weapon being sighted in order to compensate for inconsistencies, such as bullet drop due to distance. Daylight, 25yds. On a S&W 15-22, good magnet lock, clear dot, no smudge. I rotated the sighter, no deviation. Bang on. On a .22 CZ bolt, good lock, but when rotated there was a tiny amount of circling. Might be down to how square the end of the rifle was? On a .22 GSG LBP, no chance. With or without the shroud, too little area to Grip. On a ,357 undercover, good lock, but open sights, will take longer. Sturdy, well-built. Would recommend.

Excellent bit of kit. As it is a replacement for the original. I have not used it as yet. So early days.

The battery would not work in its sleeve. Have sent it back for a replacement. The item otherwise seems robust. However it arrived with an issue so had to go back.
