LPX Tactical combines nothing less than cutting edge technology and a new definition of state-of-the-art rod actions for trout fishing. Tactical has a distinct and very precise action that gradually unleashes when you load the rods more and more. The action is what we like to describe as fast ¾ deep with superb stability that suits all levels of fly casters. When casting at shorter distance the tip and mid-section gives you plenty of that important sensitivity you need, at mid and longer distance the lower parts of the rod engages and give you all the connection, power, and stability you dreamed of. The LPX Tactical 10 ft rods are available in two models - line weight #6 and #7. These rods are designed for the boat-style fishing with fly rigs that is a tradition in lakes and reservoirs in Ireland and other areas of UK. They have a powerful action that supports casting and sweep style fishing with long leaders and multiple flies. The 10´length also gives you some extra height of the line when casting sitting in a boat or wading deep.

• Varying flex depending on rod model and line weight. Generally, a medium/Fast Flex with a well-balanced power to be both a superb casting rod, yet an “on-point” fishing rod with the delicacy needed for both stealthy presentations and effective fish-fighting with thin tippets.
• Matte coated blanks for stealthy fishing without throwing reflexes from sun.
• Grips are fitted with Super Grade Cork of high density and with very little fill. 
• Reel seats with premium wood inserts with engraved “Tactical logo”.
• Metal parts are hard anodized in matte finish to avoid throwing flashes from sunlight. Custom designed locking nuts and sliding hoods contribute to the extremely low eight of the rods.
• Titanium stripper guides with zirconia inserts. Single leg guides and tip guides are PVD coated in a semi-matte gun smoke finish.
• Delivered with recycled polyester rod bags in a strong Polypropylene tube that also has a recycled polyester fabric cover.

The advanced carbon layup in these rods features C.A.P Technology (complex axial pattern) paired with a unidirectional carbon fiber structure for maximum strength and low weight. Unidirectional carbon fiber fabric is a type of carbon structure that is non-woven and features all fibers running in a single, parallel direction for maximum strength lengthwise. In a Complex Axial Pattern (CAP) prepreg layers are placed at varying angles to each other to maximize strength and stability in all directions. The result is spectacular performance with flawless recovery, unique precision, and strength despite an incredibly low weight.
