Pulsar Merger LRF XL50 (1024x768) (<40mK NETD) Thermal Imaging Binoculars. The new Merger LRF XL50 thermal imaging binoculars offer a next level thermal imaging experience. The image generated by new 1024x768 thermal sensor features high definition and rich detail. It is ideal for uncompromised trophy identification - silhouettes, anatomical features, and behavioural peculiarities of observed animals are incredibly distinguishable.

High image detail across the whole 2.5-20x magnification range
The Merger LRF XL50's variable 2.5-20x magnification provides improved focus and better overall object recognition at significant distances. The HD-sensor allows the user to maintain high levels of image detail over the entire magnification range. The zoom changes either gradually in 2x step or continuously for a customized FOV/magnification ratio for each specific situation.

Wide field of view
These intuitive thermal imaging binoculars offer a wide field of view for easy scanning and spotting. Users can explore landscapes in HD-quality, with a wide 14 degrees FOV and optimal 2.5x magnification. The large-format sensor allows the Merger LRF XL50 to achieve best-in-class FOV/magnification ratio even at high zoom levels of up to 20x.

Extra-long 2300m detection range
Uses an incredibly powerful objective lens in combination with professional grade 1024x768, 12µm, <40mK NETD HD thermal sensor to provide exceptional detection capabilities in darkness at distances of up to 2300m!

Classic binocular design
Just like its predecessor, the Merger LRF XL50 has been built with the classic design of daytime binoculars in mind. With a small form factor, these thermal imaging binoculars fit comfortably in the hand, but still offer appealing external aesthetics and exemplary ergonomics. Six function buttons are placed in a comfortable, easy-to-access arrangement, with the most-used digital device functions activated with just a single touch.

Comfortable viewing experience with both eyes
The optical design fully considers the nature of human vision; It is natural for a person to receive visual information through two visual channels simultaneously, viewing with two eyes is less tiring than viewing with one - this means users are able to achieve better detection of small or faint objects, and experience greater levels of performance in low-contrast scenarios than similar monocular-style thermal imaging devices with the same technical abilities. The Merger LRF XL50?s interpupillary distance is adjustable from 62 to 74 mm in accordance with the individual characteristics of a particular user.

Precise laser rangefinder with 1000m measuring distance
Understanding the target distance is an essential factor when it comes to a hunter making informed decisions out in the field, which is why the Merger LRF XL50 feature a built-in precision laser rangefinder, offering a measuring range of up to 1000m with an accuracy of ± 1m and allows for distance measurements in single measurements and continuous scanning modes for quick and error-free assessment in any situation.

Combined dual battery system
The Merger LRF XL50 is powered by two rechargeable batteries - one built-in with a capacity of 4 Ah, the other replaceable with a capacity of 3.2 Ah. A single charge guarantees a long battery life of up to 8 hours (depending on temperature). An embossed effect on the body of the replaceable battery has been incorporated to allow for fast and accurate determination of correct battery position, making quick and confident replacement of flat batteries easy, even in complete darkness by touch.

3 levels of sensitivity amplification
Selection of the signal amplification level, combined with new filtration algorithms with fine brightness and contrast adjustments, offers excellent opportunities for long-range observation in diverse weather and temperature conditions. Amplification settings help to define an animal?s trophy features and ensures clear rendering of objects and background in the field of view.

Fast aperture 50mm f1.0 germanium objective lens
The Merger LRF XL50 uses a powerful 50mm f1.0 germanium objective lens that offers high infrared transmission in the LWIR range, resulting in a thermal image that is incredibly well-distinguished, and achieving astounding levels of both clarity and detail.

Rugged magnesium alloy housing
Designed for constant, often hard use, the Merger LRF XL50 thermal imaging binoculars uses a rugged yet lightweight magnesium alloy housing that reliably protects the internal components of the device from shocks, drops, moisture, heat, or cold. This metal housing effectively dissipates the heat generated by electronics and increases the consistency of operation during long-term observation.

Built-in photo and video recorder
Features a built-in still image and video recorder to allow users to capture all the best moments during their observations. 16GB of internal storage allows for hours of video and tens of thousands of photos to be saved to the device, with an additional 16GB of free Cloud storage available on the free-to-download Stream Vision 2 app. One touch of a button is enough to take a photo of an interesting scene or to start recording video. Footage captured on the device is easily copied to a computer hard drive via a USB-C port.

Stream Vision 2 & Wi-Fi integration with iOS and Android devices
Built-in Wi-Fi connects the Merger LRF to Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile app, opening up a wide range of connectivity options, including wireless device software updates, real-time image transmission from the device to the smartphone screen, photo and video sharing, image gallery, remote control of digital device functions, and access to the latest news from Pulsar via Newsfeed.

Dual 2.4/5 GHZ Wi-Fi waveband support
The Merger LRF XL50 features dual-band Wi-Fi support. Complimenting the standard smartphone 2.4 GHz connection frequency range with an effective 5 GHz range. This 5GHz connection offers better bandwidth, a faster data transfer rate, noise immunity, and improved connection stability - resulting in more productive and easier operation of the thermal imager when connected to a smartphone via Stream Vision 2.

A selection of 8 colour palettes
A choice of 8 colour palettes allows the user to observe their field of view more effectively, allowing them to optimise the unit for specific tasks, as well as react to changing observation conditions. White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot are optimal for object detection; Rainbow and Ultramarine help increase the chances of recognition & identification; Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet are most suitable for long observation during the night.

IPX7 waterproof rated
The Merger LRF XL50 is IPX7 waterproof rated for protection against heavy rainfall, snow or other precipitation. The unit is designed to run flawlessly, even after submersion in up to 1m of water for up to 30 minutes.

Operation in extreme temperatures (-25 to +50°C)
Housing, power unit, optics and electronics of the Merger LRF XL50 have each been designed to withstand extreme temperatures, ensuring this device operated effectively in any environment. This device will remain operational in temperatures between -25°C and +50°C.
