The SMARTOSCOPE VARIO-Adapter can accommodate most smartphone models of any brand even whist the phone still remains inside a hard case. Smartphones large or small in size are secured in to the adapter with an adjustable phone clamp.
If your smartphone has multiple lenses you can choose which lens you want to use by aligning the opticsrail to the desired lens for full creative control.The opticsrail is secured in place by a highly engineered locking wheel that keeps the opticsrail in the exact position you set.
The SMARTOSCOPE VARIO adapter includes the SMARTOSCOPE Z30 opticsrail and Kowa TSN-AR66Z adapter ring which allows simple connection to the Kowa TSE-Z9B eyepeice for a quick, convenient and secure connection of the adapter to your Kowa TSN-660M, TSN-600, TSN-82SV or TSN-550 series spotting scopes. The included SMARTOSCOPE Z30 opticsrail and TSN-AR66Z eyepeice ring creates a dedicated fit for the Kowa eyepeices TSE-Z9B. Now you can experience a highly enginnered, truly universal smartphone digiscoping adapter with all the convenince of using a KOWA eyepiece ring to connect the adapter to your Kowa TSN-660M, TSN-600, TSN-82SV or TSN-550 series spotting scopes. Features
- A body crafted from aluminium and components made of high grade polyoxymethylene “POM-C”. A smooth opticsrail aligns your chosen smartphone camera lens perfectly with the eyepiece of the spotting scope. The opticsrail features a 30mm screw thread to allow connection of the Kowa TSN-AR66Z adapter ring to connect the unit to a Kowa eyepiece.
- A finely engineered locking wheel instantly secures the opticsrail in the position you set without play or movement. The phone clamp adjusts to accommodate even very large smartphone models. The clamp adjustment thread secures the smart phone.
- The phone clamp and base are angled to help secure the smartphone and prevent slipping.
- Protection rubber is utilised at key points to eliminate friction between the smartphone and the adapter plate ensuring a stable, scratch free fitting. The main plate has 2 recessed rubber strips that serve both as anti-slip protecti on and as a support surface that is gentle on the housing.
