Does exactly as it says in the tin. The part is made to the same standard and quality as the Spartan mount that came with my Valhalla 2 bipod. The mount can be seen with bipod on my rifle. Due to the length of the rifle and the bench at one of my shooting locations front mounting the bipod isnt possible hence the need for this adapter to mount the bipod further back.
