Hawke Flip Up Cover - Ocular 1. Produced from high grade aluminium. Easy to operate using one hand, the covers are designed to protect the lenses when not in use. Covers are easily installed and can be securely positioned to open in any desired direction.
- Compatible with 2015-2019 collection - including Vantage SF IR, Vantage IR, Vantage SF, Vantage and Airmax 30 Compact SF.
- Please note, metal ocular flip-up covers are not compatible with the Frontier 30, Frontier 30 SF and Endurance WA range or XB/XB1 crossbow scopes.

Brilliant flip up covers for your for your Hawke scope really well made and (obviously) fit perfectly the only downside is they are a bit expensive and if your scope is in low and maybe even medium mounts and you have an adjustable Objective on your scope it may not be able to rotate all the way round as the hinge and the part you push on to open the cover may catch on your rifles cylinder ( I found it does on my HW30)

Well made metal cover. Assemble using the smallest dab of a WD40 silicon grease (applied with the tip of a wooden toothpick not directly from the spray!) on the screwthread of the cover will ensure easy assembly.Also a small dab applied in the same fashion on the hinge will aid opening; and the same on the inside of the two plastic snaplocks will greatly aid releasing them.

Good cap, have then on 2 Airmax Compact Scopes. A smudge of silicon grease on the thread helps fitting. Very stiff to open though so if your scope doesn't have a lock ring you will need to fix the eyepiece reticle adjustment in place using the correct width O Ring as a packer (for me 2mm)to stop the Ocular going it off true when you open the cap.

Quality secure protection for your scope so much better than the horrible caps on elastic. A bit tricky to fit the tool for tightening the inner ring into the thread could easily slip and make you scratch your lens and the thread is quite difficult to engage. I recommend lubricating the inner surfaces with gun oil before fitting. Use some wadded tissue to protect the lens when screwing it in place and dont tighten too much. Youll need to rotate the cap round when using the focus ring on your scope.
