It does require a dip in very hot water (as per product instructions) to allow the female joint or cup to expand a little so the male joint can be pushed in. Not a problem but wear a pair of gloves because it does get very hot when jointing the male and female partners together. I would recommend the Plamp extension to give the arm extra reach. A useful help mate accessory.
