Oil finish kit containing Oil of Alkanet (For giving the stock a greater depth of colour and enhancing grain), Rapid oil (A special blend of oils and waxes to enable you to obtain a classic English oil finish), Grain Sealer (A fast, efficient way of sealing open grain wood) and TS - 95 Oil (Developed in conjunction with Rapid Oil to greatly increase shine to the stock and drastically reduce drying time).

I have been using the Trade Secrets range since the late 90s. It is the best and easiest to use oil finish. As proffesional gunsmith I do the finish slightly different to the instructions changing some of the stages around and altering the drying times. However if the instructions are followed to the letter then a good finish will result. If you do make a mistake it is a very forgiving finishand you can always wire wool the surface back to the filled satge and start again. The secret is to build up the coats gradually with very little oil....
