After three days of use for target practise the elastic broke at the fork end. I trimmed it and put it back on (an inch shorter) two days later and it broke in the middle.

Aside from the Black Widow, the strike nine is better than the rest of the Barnett range, easy to use, powerful and accurate, a cheap but fantastic slingshot.
