You need to pack the screw side out to keep it level when you tighten it. Apart from that it works well

Very poorly machined,not even close to accurate. Useless.

very poor design. tightening the securing bolt even lightly pinches the two halves together, canting the spirit level up @ the outer end and giving a false reading
