Bought this item for .17HMR. There is no way this will pull through the barrel, will probably snap causing problems of removal. Not recommended.

Great quality item, saves lots of time after shooting. i use this with my .22LR rifle. Its great for clearing the lead remains out of the barrell.Just needs putting in the washing machine once it gets dirty. This is a great item.
