The monocular arrives very well packaged and the box contains both the item and instructions. Provided also is a leather case with a belt clip and a lanyard which attaches to an eyepiece protector and separately to the monocular itself. An additional feature of the case is that the lid holds a detachable closeup lens. The coated optics are excellent as one would expect from Leica which gives the item a good field of view. The monocular appears solidly made and the whole package is of the highest quality reflecting the high price of the item. I searched the Internet and found the Uttings price very competitive.

Great but let down by cheap nasty accessories.. Leica should be ashamed of themselves.. The Monovid is a first class small lightweight and very useful tool for all occasions.

Expensive but beautifully made compact instrument. Have not had time to evaluate it fully.

Amazing little scope with super sharp image and no noticeable CA. Very bright considering the 20mm objective and the case and build quality of the scope is excellent hasnt left my belt since I got it!I bought it based on other reviews but was not sure Id keep it because of the price however it really is as good as people say. Yes its expensive but to get this quality you have to pay for it even youre even thinking about buying one just do it you wont have any regrets.

Excellent piece of kit which is superbly made. Unfortunately there is no objective lens cap so I have had to buy one from another source that will do the job.The guarantee needs to be revised to reflect the fact that it is not necessary to have it stamped by the dealer. Also when registering on the Leica website they need to take onboard the fact that we in the U.K. Do not have zip codes. There is also no provision for a street.
