Choosing a Waterproof Version

GTX in the product name identifies a GORE-TEX waterproof version. XA Forces Mid, X Ultra Forces and Quest 4D families include different variants, so selecting the family name alone does not specify waterproofing.

For example, the XA Forces Mid GTX is distinct from the XA Forces Mid EN. Choose the exact version rather than treating the additional letters as interchangeable.

Mid-Height or Higher-Cut Boots?

Tracker options include Cross Hike, X Ultra and Quest models. The Quest Tracker High GTX provides a taller-collar alternative for additional lower-leg coverage.

Collar height, waterproofing and insulation are separate features. A higher waterproof boot should not automatically be treated as an insulated winter model.
