Manufacturer code: PUL-76590     |     Our code: 148035

The Pulsar Thermion 3 LRF XT60 thermal riflescope combines a 1280×1024 HD thermal sensor with a 60mm F1.0 objective, a wide 14.6° field of view and an integrated laser rangefinder. Its 2× starting magnification gives you room to follow movement and assess the surrounding ground, while smooth adjustment up to 24× lets you take a closer look. For shooters choosing between the two Thermion 3 models, the XT60 places the emphasis on sensor resolution and a broader view.

Key features

  • HD thermal imaging with system NETD below 20mK for distinguishing subtle temperature differences.
  • Wide starting view covering 25.7m at 100m, helping you keep more of the surrounding scene in sight.
  • Stepless zoom ring with a removable throw lever and reversible zoom direction.
  • Central focusing control accessible with either hand, without reaching towards the objective.
  • Slimline laser rangefinder with single measurement, continuous scanning and True Horizontal Distance modes.
  • Two Picture-in-Picture modes for inspecting detail while retaining a view of the wider scene.

HD thermal detail with a wider view

The XT60 pairs a 1280×1024, 12µm sensor with a 60mm F1.0 lens. Its system NETD below 20mK describes the complete imaging system’s thermal sensitivity, helping it distinguish small temperature differences when contrast between an animal and its background is limited.

The combination of a high-resolution sensor and low starting magnification is central to this model’s appeal. At its lowest setting, the XT60 shows a horizontal span of 25.7m at 100m: approximately twice the width of the XR60’s starting view. That gives you more context around an animal before increasing magnification to examine detail.

A 2560×2560 AMOLED display presents the image through a wide-angle eyepiece with 65mm eye relief. Three sensitivity amplification settings and nine colour palettes let you adapt the presentation to the conditions and your viewing preference.

More familiar zooming and easier focusing

The Thermion 3 introduces a physical zoom ring on the eyepiece, bringing magnification control closer to the handling of a conventional day scope. Adjustment is smooth and stepless, with a removable throw lever to make the ring easier to locate and turn. You can reverse the zoom direction in the settings to suit your preferred operation.

Focusing has moved to the central turret, so there is no need to reach forward to the objective. Together with the circular button layout and function wheel, this puts frequently used controls within easier reach during observation.

Integrated rangefinding and ballistic support

The low-profile laser rangefinder sits beside the objective and measures distances up to 1,200m with stated accuracy of ±1m. Take a single reading, use continuous scanning as you observe different points, or select True Horizontal Distance for an effective horizontal measurement on sloping ground.

The built-in ballistic calculator works with rangefinder data and your configured ballistic profile to display a suggested point of aim. Stream Vision Ballistics compatibility supports ammunition-specific profiles, while an on-screen widget presents the relevant ballistic information and corrections.

Pulsar specifies a thermal detection distance of up to 3,100m. Detection, identification and laser range measurement are different capabilities; this figure should not be read as an identification or shooting distance.

Observation and recording without losing the wider picture

Picture-in-Picture places an enlarged view within the main image, allowing closer inspection while the surrounding area remains visible. Choose between two layouts, including a rounded central window.

Photographs and video with audio are stored in 128GB of internal memory. Alongside manual capture, recoil-activated recording saves footage from before and after a detected shot. Shadow recording maintains a temporary 30-second buffer, helping preserve a moment when the record button is pressed late.

Stream Vision 2 provides mobile viewing and control, file downloads and firmware updates. Its AI Shot Detection feature marks shot timestamps in recorded footage, making relevant moments easier to find during playback.

Power, protection and mounting

The dual battery system provides up to 8.5 hours of operation, depending on temperature. An eyepiece proximity sensor switches the display into standby when the scope is away from your eye and restores it when you return. A hinged battery cover helps keep the cover attached during battery changes.

The conventional scope body uses a 30mm mounting tube for compatible rings. IP67 protection and a stated operating range of −25°C to +50°C support use in demanding outdoor conditions.

Frequently asked questions

Should I choose the Thermion 3 LRF XT60 or XR60?

Choose the XT60 when your priorities are a higher-resolution sensor and a wider starting view. The Thermion 3 LRF XR60 starts at 4× rather than 2×, offers magnification up to 40× and has a longer stated battery runtime, but shows a narrower area at its lowest setting.

What has changed in the Thermion 3 controls?

The series introduces a stepless eyepiece zoom ring with a removable throw lever, central focusing and an updated interface. These changes make zoom and focus adjustment more accessible while retaining the familiar tube-style mounting format.

Available Reticles

Choose from 10 electronic reticle shapes with nine colour options. Scalable reticles retain their angular dimensions as magnification changes. Three zeroing methods are available: One Shot, Zoom and Freeze Zeroing, with five individual shooting profiles and support for 50 zeroing distances.
