Pulsar Telos LRF XL50 Thermal Imager
Product Details
Manufacturer code: PUL-77515 | Our code: 142540
The Pulsar Telos LRF XL50 is a high-resolution thermal imaging monocular with an integrated laser rangefinder. Its 1024x768 thermal sensor, 50mm f1.0 lens and 2.5x starting magnification provide a wide view for scanning, with digital magnification for closer inspection of distant subjects.
High-resolution thermal observation
The LRF XL50’s 14° horizontal field of view lets you scan a broad area at the 2.5x starting magnification. Zoom up to 20x when you want a closer look, while Pulsar’s Image Boost processing enhances detail and contrast within the thermal image.
Adjustable sensitivity, brightness and contrast settings let you tailor the picture to the scene and observation conditions. The 1024x768 AMOLED display presents the image through the monocular’s viewfinder.
Telos LRF XL50 or LRF XG50?
The Telos LRF XG50 is an alternative if you prefer a more magnified starting view. Both models feature a 50mm f1.0 lens and an integrated laser rangefinder, but their sensors and fields of view differ:
- LRF XL50: 1024x768 sensor, 2.5x starting magnification and 14° horizontal field of view.
- LRF XG50: 640x480 sensor, 3.5x starting magnification and 8.8° horizontal field of view.
Choose the LRF XL50 if a wider starting view and more sensor pixels are important to you. Consider the LRF XG50 if you prefer greater initial magnification. The Telos LRF XT50 offers another step up in sensor resolution and a wider starting field of view.
Integrated laser rangefinder
The built-in rangefinder measures distances up to 1000m with a stated accuracy of ±1m. Choose single measurements or continuous scanning to assess the distance to a subject and its surroundings.
The quoted detection range is up to 2300m. Detecting a heat source at that distance does not guarantee that it can be identified: the detail available depends on the subject and conditions.
Controls, recording and connectivity
Focus and magnification rings at the front of the monocular allow you to adjust the view, while the hand strap can be positioned for left- or right-handed use. The menu and controls can be customised to prioritise frequently used functions.
Capture still photographs and video with audio to the internal memory. Stream Vision 2 connectivity lets you use a compatible phone or tablet to download recordings, control settings remotely and update firmware.
