Product Details

Manufacturer code: PUL-77514     |     Our code: 142524

The Pulsar Telos LRF XG50 is a handheld thermal imaging monocular with a 640x480 sensor, 50mm f1.0 lens and integrated laser rangefinder. Its 3.5x starting magnification gives you a more magnified view from the outset, with digital zoom for closer inspection.

Thermal observation with a magnified starting view

The LRF XG50 is suited to observers who prefer a more magnified initial view when looking across open ground. Its 3.5-14x magnification range and 8.8° horizontal field of view let you focus on a smaller section of the scene at a time.

Pulsar’s Image Boost processing enhances detail and contrast, while adjustable sensitivity, brightness and contrast settings let you tune the image to the conditions. Eight colour palettes provide a choice of display options for different observation tasks.

Telos LRF XG50 or LRF XL50?

The Telos LRF XL50 offers a wider starting view and a higher-resolution thermal sensor. Both models feature a 50mm f1.0 lens and an integrated laser rangefinder:

  • LRF XG50: 640x480 sensor, 3.5x starting magnification and 8.8° horizontal field of view.
  • LRF XL50: 1024x768 sensor, 2.5x starting magnification and 14° horizontal field of view.

Choose the LRF XG50 if you prefer a more magnified starting view. Consider the LRF XL50 if a wider view for scanning and a higher sensor resolution are your priorities.

Integrated laser rangefinder

The built-in rangefinder measures distances up to 1000m with a stated accuracy of ±1m. Single measurements and continuous scanning help you assess the distance to an observed subject.

The quoted detection range is up to 2300m. Detecting a heat source at that distance does not guarantee identification; the detail available depends on the subject and conditions.

Controls, recording and connectivity

Separate focus and magnification rings are positioned at the front of the monocular. The hand strap can be moved to suit left- or right-handed use, and the controls and menu can be customised around frequently used functions.

Record photographs and video with audio directly to the device. Stream Vision 2 connectivity lets you use a compatible phone or tablet to download recordings, adjust settings remotely and update firmware.
