Akios AirPower 420 GTR Continental Rod - 4.2m 14ft - Black Edition. When developing the AIRPOWER GTR there was one primary objective, to develop a true all-rounder fishing rod suitable for varied fishing situations, one that offers ample power to cast large baits for large fish if needed, yet equally capable of flicking out a bunch of ragworm for plaice, and offering the feel and feedback through the blank to maximise the enjoyment of the fight.
The 14ft blank boasts a powerful butt and tip-section that progressively blends into a sensitive glass tip for superb bite detection. Suitable for all casting styles including a simple over-head thump, off-the-ground, or a more powerful pendulum cast with leads between 4-8oz and suitable for clean, mixed and rough ground, the AIPOWER GTR is a hugely versatile fishing rod designed for the serious angler.
