Looks good at the right price. Broke on the third outing. Replaced with a safer brand. Uttings customer service second to none. Thanks.

The first one had a manufacturing fault Guideline responded very quickly which was great and the retailer replaced immediately so no complaints there. The staff itself is good quality the sections fit together well its solid easy to use hooks onto my waist pack easily via a retractor. The reason for 4 not 5 stars is that its possibly too lightweight for strong currents. I might have to add a weight to the bottom section for larger rivers. A matter of preference perhaps.

Good quality. Seems safe with the lock. Hope it lasts.

The design seems perfect providing a highly portable and very light wading stick. In practice however.... the first one arrived without a D loop fastening more worryingly after one afternoon of use in brisk water the small nut and bolt holding the locking link in place came off in the water. This effectively renders the stick unusable and dangerous if discovered midriver Thankfully Uttings despatched a replacement very promptly however I now lack confidence in the product and find myself checking it regularly.
