Sharpe's Spey Wading Staff with Lanyard. Sharpe's of Aberdeen have been making dependable and reliable wading staffs for many, many years. The heavy weighted wading staff (overall weigh 2lbs 6 ozs) is designed for use in faster waters. 54" long, the staff is covered by robust PVC sleeving and has a reinforced rubber foot and supplied with a releasable lanyard that is clipped to the staff (a safety feature). The final feature is that it is has a "length to weight" conversion chart to help you access the weight of your fish, which has the added benefit of depth measurement.

Very sturdy perfectly weighted with the lanyard over the shoulder results in the handle being perfectly placed.

Is what it says on the tin. At least it will be where I want it in an emergency on the river bed ie.down and useful vs collapsible wading sticks which are light and float !
