Just got this coat and for the money it seems pretty good. I am 6' with a 42" chest and chose size L t fits me perfectly with a thick sweather on. The zip is a heavy duty one, nice to see and the coat is a nice length. I chose the blue which is more a very dark greyish blue, not a royal blue. The coat also has a reasonable amount of weight to it, not too heavy and will be ideal for spring summer and autumn rain with not much warmth in it on it's own. All in all.good value for money.

Im 62 slim to regular build. I went for the XXL and its a good fit. Enough room for a bulky sweater underneath or even another jacket. It seems well made but only time will tell. I tested it on a cold and wet walk with moderate wind. It keeps me dry and the wind resistance is good. The lining is thin so protection from cold is not so good. Its long enough to go over my standard height wellies. I have long arms but the sleeves have plenty of length which is a bonus for me. The external pockets could be deeper. The internal breast pocket is part of the lining and is not much use. Im docking a point for the woefully inadequate hood its tiny and uncomfortable. Id have happily paid a few more quid for one that actually keeps your head and face dry. That said overall the coat is still good value for money.
