The new Mountmater AO IR series has been developed to provide a fast correction to focus and parallax through the adjustable objective (AO IR) lenses. Now you can adjust right down to targets that are only 10 yards if required!
Reticle Illuminated Half Mil Dot
Hunting small game with airguns or .22 rifles is becoming increasingly popular and a challenging sport. So too are the various plinking targets available today. Usually the game or target is small and the distances can vary from shot to shot. Normally a riflescope is focuses and parallax free at 100 yards. However when the game or target is at closer ranges then focusing and parallax correction is necessary to avoid inaccuracy.
The AO IR series feature a very strong 3/8-inch dovetail mount ring. Additionally we have added a recoil stop screw that allows the mount to be secured to powerful airguns without fear of shifting under the sharp recoil of the spring release.
The Mountmaster AO IR series features finger adjustable windage and elevation bezels and an attractive matte finish. The reticle supplied is the popular Illuminated Mil Dot which allows convenient holdover markers allowing quick shooting over varying distances!

This scope dropped a star because the green scale illumination didnt work (although the red illumination did?). I didnt return the scope or investigate further because I dont anticipate using the illuminated scales. In every other respect the scope is fine and zeroed OK. Etc. The scope is clear and is a good combination of a useful magnification and close AO adjustment which I find ideal at typical ratting distances.

This is a small neat scope that looks and works very well on my HW95. I'm not the best shot and to be honest 4x mag is more than enough to identify any target I am likely to hit with a spring rifle. The IR is a nice gimmick but I never use it!!! Great value and recommended for any rifle shooting up to about 35 yards.
