Gravity X5 14ft: Power for Demanding Shore Fishing

The Sonik Gravity X5 14ft shore rod is a two-piece model rated for 5–7oz casting weights. Designed for powerful casting and fishing heavy ground and rock marks, it combines a high-modulus carbon blank with an X5 multidirectional nanofibre tip-section lay-up.

Fuji Alconite guides, an anti-wrap tip ring and a Japanese shrink-wrap handle complete the setup. Its sliding reel seat lets you adjust the reel position to suit your casting preference.

Gravity X5 HT: A Longer Three-Piece Option

The Sonik Gravity X5 HT is a 15ft 4in, three-piece shore rod with a 4–8oz casting range. Its hollow carbon tip is designed to recover quickly after casting and sit well in heavier tides and swells. A white tip helps make bites visible in poor light.

This model features Fuji Alconite K Series guides and a Fuji DPS reel fitting. Compare it with the 14ft Gravity X5 according to your preferred handling, casting load and transport requirements.

SKS Black Beach Rods

The SKS Black range provides a lower-cost route into Sonik shore fishing rods. Choose between the 13ft SKS Black Beach rod rated at 4–6oz and the 14ft SKS Black Beach rod rated at 5–7oz.

Both are two-piece MFS models, with guide arrangements suitable for multiplier and fixed spool reels. Sliding reel seats allow position adjustment, while shrink-wrap handles provide a slim grip. Match the rod's casting rating to your regular leads and baits.

SKS Black Bass: Lighter Shore Fishing

For a lighter casting setup, consider the Sonik SKS Black Bass rod. This 11ft 8in two-piece model has a 2–4oz casting range, making it a different choice from the heavier beachcasters. It features a sliding reel seat and guides suitable for fixed spool or multiplier reels.
