HIKMicro Stellar 4.0 SQ50L Thermal (640x512) Riflescope with Mounting Rail

The HIKMICRO Stellar SQ50LR 4.0 is a thermal riflescope with a 640 × 512 sensor, 50 mm f/1.0 lens and integrated laser rangefinder. It provides 3.5–28.0× magnification and uses rail mounting.

Choosing between Stellar 4.0 models

Compared with the SX75, the SQ50 has a higher starting magnification and longer quoted battery runtime. The SX75 offers a higher-resolution sensor, wider stated field of view and longer stated detection range. Detection range describes the manufacturer's stated detection capability, not the distance at which a target can be identified. Both models have a 1,200 m rangefinder; detection and rangefinder distances are different measurements.

The SQ50L 4.0 uses a standard 30 mm tube instead. Check the mounting arrangement suits your rifle and mounts before choosing.

Viewing and operation

A side focus ring and magnification control accompany the 1.03-inch AMOLED display. HIKMICRO's shutterless image system, Image Pro 4.0, Zoom Pro and Sync Pro are included, alongside six display palettes and picture-in-picture viewing.

The integrated rangefinder measures from 10 to 1,200 m, and the scope includes ballistic calculation, five zeroing profiles and freeze zeroing. On-board video and audio recording, recoil-activated recording and snapshots are stored in 64 GB of built-in memory.

Power and mounting

The power system combines two internal rechargeable lithium batteries with a replaceable rechargeable 18650 battery. The stated continuous runtime is 9.5 hours at 25°C with the rangefinder on. USB-C charges the internal batteries only; charge the external battery using the battery charger.
