The Browning Invector STD Choke Tube - 12g is a replacement choke for 12-gauge shotgun barrels fitted with Browning’s original Standard Invector system. The range includes different constrictions, including X-Full, allowing you to replace an existing tube with the required option.
Compatibility
This choke is suitable only for 12-gauge barrels designed to accept Standard Invector tubes. Check that the barrel is marked Invector or Standard Invector before ordering.
- Compatible system: Standard Invector, also known as Invector STD or Invector.
- Not compatible with Invector-Plus, Invector+ or Invector-DS barrels.
- Not suitable for barrels of another gauge or fixed-choke barrels.
Do not select a choke by shotgun model name alone. Browning has used different choke systems within the same model families over time, so the marking on the actual barrel is the essential compatibility check. Tube length or appearance alone does not reliably identify the system.
Before ordering
Select the required constriction and confirm that both the gauge and choke system match your barrel. X-Full means Extra Full; it identifies the constriction rather than a different Invector system. For steel-shot use, check the restrictions for your chosen choke, shotgun and ammunition before use.
