Snowbee Starter River Fly Fishing Bundle

Snowbee Starter River Fly Fishing Bundle

The Snowbee Starter River Fly Fishing Bundle brings together a Classic 9ft #4/5 fly rod, Classic 2 #3/4 fly reel and Classic #4 weight-forward floating line, alongside backing and a selection of river fly fishing accessories.

Classic Rod and Large-Arbour Reel

The 106g Classic rod features a Half Wells handle in A-grade cork, lined stripper rings and an oversized hayfork tip ring. A lightweight black aluminium reel fitting and hazel finish complete the rod. It is suited to river and small stillwater fishing.

The Classic 2 reel has a lightweight, rigid frame moulded from glassfibre-reinforced nylon. Its large-arbour design supports faster line retrieval and reduces line memory, while a rear-adjusted composite and stainless steel disc drag provides smooth control. A quick-release spool and left- or right-hand conversion add practical convenience.

Line, Leaders and Dry Fly Accessories

The Classic #4 floating line uses balanced tapers for easy rod loading and controlled turnover at typical trout fishing distances. The two XS-P Gold tippet spools and tapered leaders provide options for dry fly presentation, with 3.2lb and 2.4lb leader tips in 6X and 7X respectively.

The lightweight, double-sided Classic Dry-Fly Box has a crack-resistant shell, high-density slit foam for up to 235 flies and a centre section holding five dry fly threaders. The included floatant helps prevent hackles becoming waterlogged and keeps dry flies riding high.
