Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XP60 Thermal Riflescope
Product Details
Manufacturer code: PUL-76576 | Our code: 144501
The Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XP60 thermal riflescope combines a 60mm f/1.1 objective lens with a sensitive 17µm sensor and a broader view than the XG60 at its starting magnification. A high-resolution Micro-OLED display, extended eye relief and built-in laser rangefinder complete the package in a conventional 30mm mounting format.
Key features
- 640 × 480 thermal sensor with adjustable image processing.
- 60mm f/1.1 objective lens with variable digital magnification.
- Picture-in-Picture for a magnified inset within the wider scene.
- Integrated laser rangefinder and supported ballistic app connectivity.
- Standard 30mm ring mounting.
- Built-in image and video recording with smartphone connectivity.
Thermal image and field of view
The 640 × 480, 17µm sensor works with a 60mm f/1.1 objective lens. At the 3x starting magnification, the horizontal field of view is 10.4°, equivalent to 18.1m at 100m. The 60mm models use a high-resolution Micro-OLED display to present the thermal image.
The quoted detection range is up to 2,000m. This is a detection figure, not an identification guarantee; usable detail depends on the subject, distance and conditions.
Adjust image processing to the conditions
Sensor NETD is below 25mK, with system NETD below 18mK. Thermal sensitivity helps distinguish small temperature differences between a subject and its surroundings. Sensitivity amplification, brightness and contrast controls let you adjust the image as thermal contrast changes. A smoothing filter provides further adjustment. Choose from 9 thermal colour palettes with supporting current firmware to change the presentation of temperature differences.
Magnification and Picture-in-Picture
Picture-in-Picture displays a magnified inset while retaining the wider scene in the main viewing area. This allows closer examination of an object without filling the entire display with the zoomed view. Magnification can be adjusted through the 3–24x range.
Micro-OLED display and extended eye relief
The 2560 × 2560 Micro-OLED display is paired with a redesigned eyepiece and 65mm eye relief. This is the viewing-display resolution; saved photographs and videos have their own resolution. The conventional 30mm tube fits suitable standard scope rings, and the supplied Bluetooth remote offers another way to access digital controls.
Integrated laser rangefinder
The built-in laser rangefinder measures up to 800m with a stated accuracy of ±1m. Maximum usable range depends on the object and conditions. Stream Vision Ballistics supports work with range measurements and an entered ballistic profile.
Rechargeable power
An internal rechargeable battery works alongside a removable APS3 pack. The external pack can be replaced during longer sessions, and USB-C supports external power. A spare APS3 battery is included in the UK package. Actual endurance depends on the battery configuration, temperature and use of digital features.
Recording and smartphone connectivity
Capture still photographs and video with sound directly to the 64GB internal memory. Stream Vision 2 connects a compatible Android or iOS smartphone or tablet for live viewing, remote control, downloading files and firmware updates. Dual-band Wi-Fi supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz connections.
Compare with similar models
Thermion 2 LRF XP60 or Thermion 2 LRF XG60?
Compare the Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XG60. The XG60 starts at 4x with a narrower 7.3° view, while the XP60 starts at 3x with a broader 10.4° view. Sensor pitch and sensitivity differ, so the choice should reflect the view and contrast conditions you prioritise.
Thermion 2 LRF XP60 or Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro?
Compare the Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro. The XP50 Pro starts at 2x with a wider 12.4° view and 50mm lens. The XP60 offers a 60mm lens, 3x starting magnification, 65mm eye relief and a Micro-OLED display.
