Spartan Ascent Tripod Gen 2 – Woodland
The Spartan Ascent Gen 2 Woodland is a multifunctional tripod for backcountry hunting, rifle support and glassing. Weighing 1.7kg, it combines a Davros Pro head with four-section legs that detach for use as trekking poles. The Woodland configuration provides a published ground clearance range of 31–177cm.
Davros Pro Head
The Davros Pro head uses Spartan’s MagnaSwitch magnetic attachment system to connect rifles and optics quickly through compatible adapters. A dedicated panning base provides smooth 360° movement, while adjustable ball friction and locking controls help position and secure your equipment.
Flexible Height and Positioning
Four leg pitch positions accommodate uneven terrain and low shooting positions. Twist-lock legs provide height adjustment, with an adjustable centre column for finer changes when shooting or glassing. A removable hook accepts ballast to increase stability.
Modular Construction
Hard-anodised 7075-T7351 aluminium and multilayer carbon fibre combine strength with low weight. Detachable legs accept trekking pole handles, while the M14 threaded system allows compatible alternative Spartan legs to be fitted.
