Lovely soft silent material. It says its waterproof Ive not tested this yet. Great for bird watching and photography. Inside pocket is a little small so I wont be able to get a map in it or in the two chest pockets but I love the fact that it has them so useful.The fit was slightly larger than expected so I would say it is a generous fit compared to the normal size but a smaller size would have been too small. The sleeves are slightly long but they do sinch in so not a problem. The cut on the arms/shoulders is great and gives you full movement without being bulky. The hood is detachable and a bit floppy I would have preferred it if it could be rolled away when not being used.Despite all above I love the jacket its very comfortable stylish and looks good and is very reasonably priced.

Have only worn 3 times but I cannot recommend enough along with matching trousers. Jacket is great value quality and comfort. Plenty of room for movement. Warm and silent when worn.
